Once again I don't exist.
Once again I watch others
Take their place where I long to be.
And I tell myself each time,
Next time,
Maybe next time I'll be remembered,
Maybe I won't be treated
As if I'm not there,
Or worse,
As if I'm something that does not understand,
Something that won't care
Because it does not comprehend
The conversations of higher beings.
And so
Once again I stand here on the sidelines,
Guilty
As I encourage my friends,
With barely concealed sadness
And perhaps,
A tinge of jealousy
For who they are
And what they acheive
And for what I long to do.
I don't want much.
Just to be included.
Just to be li
Dreaming On
Everyone dreams.
Dreams of fairytale love,
Or James Bond exploits.
Dreams of dancing in the stars
Or gliding, seamless,
Across adamantine ice.
Because everyone dreams.
And in their fantasy world,
They always triumph,
Win the hand of their love,
Outwit the enemy
Or sail through glittering lights.
But dreams fall
Like flowers, withering,
Dream on.
Always.
Dreaming on.
A Poem Which is not Really About Frogs
I shall write you
A poem
About frogs.
Which no more
Can be read into
Past the superficial.
So,
This is my poem
About frogs.
And you cannot tell me
It is about
My life, my views,
My hatred of politics,
Because it's not.
It's about frogs.
And here it is.
I have written you
My poem
About frogs.
But
It's not really
About frogs.
It's about you,
Reading more into poetry,
Than is actually
There.
So,
Here is my poem
Which is not really
About frogs
And I hope you can
Bring yourself
To only read what's here
And to ignore what's not.
Once again I don't exist.
Once again I watch others
Take their place where I long to be.

Time
The Clock goes round,
Ticking, Ticking,
The Clock goes round,
Ticking, Ticking,
The Clock goes round,
Ticking, Ticking,
Ticking, Ticking,
Ticking, Ticking,
Never Pausing,
Never Stopping,
Never Ending
Always Going,
Always Ticking,
Always Ticking,
Ticking, Ticking,
Ticking, Ticking,
Ticking, Ticking,
A Birth, A Death,
Ticking, Ticking,
The Beginning, The End,
Ticking, Ticking,
Alpha, Omega,
Ticking, Ticking,
The Clock may stop,
Ticking, Ticking,
Ticking, Ticking,
Ticking, Ticking,
But Time goes on,
Ticking, Ticking . . .
The Ruin
These walls,
Once proud,
Stand now,
Defeated,
Time's Grip,
Has taken hold,
The towers,
And turrets,
That stood,
Defiant,
Now crumbled,
Withered,
Old.
I was just thinking "blimey, I've done a lot of stuff since I was last on here", hence the title.
For those who care:
Exams :(
Getting knocked off my bike by a taxi and dislocating my elbow :(
Work Experience at Heli Air fixing helicopters :D
French Exchange :)
Hotness :P lots and lots and lots of sun
For those who don't:
Tough Luck.
And I'm rehearsing really hard for the next school music tour to Salzburg :D
Now I'm feeling a bit bad about telling everyone all this whether or not they want to hear, so if you want to tell someone about your life, please feel free to comment and I will listen/read dutifully. Promise.
Does just what it says in the title.
Wahay!
(Not so sure if anyone else will be so pleased by that, but hey)
My scanner is still broken *sigh*, but I have a laptop now! It's green! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
